Doesn't get much better than watching Pulp Fiction alongside Quentin Tarantino.

Uma Thurman talks about the apparently immenent release of the companion anime Kill Bill stories. Here's what she had to say.

"His anime stuff is strong," she smiled.

"It has nothing to do with me," she said. "It has to do with another character. You'll have to see."

Supposedly, this is going to be part of an expanded Kill Bill DVD release.

Via Andy from Momentum Pictures UK Theatrical Sales we get word that GRINDHOUSE will be making showings in the UK beginning Friday.

In case of interest to your UK readers... GRINDHOUSE will finally be making it to UK cinema screens from Friday 28th March.

Following sell-out screenings at Glasgow FrightFest and the Prince Charles Cinema in London, the film will enjoy limited screenings in selected cinemas around the country, on one-offs and late night shows.

Sight & Sound has an interview with Quentin about the reaction to Death Proof up. Inglorious Bastards comes up early and it sounds like QT hasn't done much work on it of late.

Quentin had a bit of a run-in with some paparazzi at Sundance.

Quentin must've gotten drunk this weekend, because there are now rumors of him re-making Russ Meyer's Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. We even have a possible cast of Britney, Kim Kardashian and Eva Mendez.

Not very likely.

Even though GRINDHOUSE was eventually broken into 2 separate films, there is going to be a 6-disc DVD release of the whole double feature with special features ... in Japan. [thanks Taylor]

Still no fake trailers from the description that SlashFilm has. This makes the lack of any type of combined DVD release in the US even more disappointing.

Quentin will be receiving the 2008 Ray-Ban Visionary Award on January 20th, 2008 in Park City, Utah.

First Showing has a nice first look at Hell Ride - which is one of the 'Quentin Tarantino Presents' films.

Hell Ride is an old-fashioned biker movie that was written and directed by Larry Bishop. Along with QT regular Michael Madsen, Bishop plays a biker out for revenge after his girlfriend is killed by a Satanic biker gang known as the 666ers. The film will premiere at Sundance next month.

QT got to announce the nominees for the Golden Globes Best Drama category.

Its pricey, but Amazon has the Soundtrack for Sukiyaki Western: Django available for sale. I also saw that YesAsia has pre-orders available for both the standard and collector's edition DVDs. [via Twitch]

Chronological Snobbery has an extremely detailed account of Tarantino's appearance on The Golden Girls as an Elvis impersonator. This is pre Reservoir Dogs, so Quentin was a true unknown at the time.
